Contour recommends using powered hubs and against using conversion<br \/>\ndevices, such as USB adapters.)<br \/>\n\u2022 10 Mbyte of hard disk space for the Shuttle device driver installation.<br \/>\nInstallation Procedure<br \/>\nNotes:<br \/>\n1) It is recommended that you close all other applications that may be running on your<br \/>\nsystem and that you disable any virus protection software until after the installation is<br \/>\ncomplete.<br \/>\n2) If you have any previous Shuttle devices driver installed on your system, please refer to<br \/>\nparagraph 6 (Updating or Uninstalling your Shuttle device Software) before proceeding.<br \/>\n3) For Windows 2000 and XP users: installing the driver requires system-administrator<br \/>\nsecurity privileges.<br \/>\nStep 1.<br \/>\nStep 2.<br \/>\nLocate and double-click the Contour Shuttle device driver installer.<br \/>\nA dialog box will prompt you through the installation process. Once installation is<br \/>\ncomplete you should receive a message stating, \u201cContour Shuttle Device Driver has<br \/>\nbeen successfully installed. Stated differently, the Control Panel manages application settings.<br \/>\nChanges performed on the application settings are enabled as soon as you click on the Apply or<br \/>\nOK button in the Control Panel.<br \/>\nThe Control Panel does not need to be open when you use the Shuttle device.<br \/>\nThe software automatically detects the program you are using and automatically switches to<br \/>\nthe correct application settings associated with the application.<br \/>\n2.1 Control Panel Overview<br \/>\nThe Shuttle device Control Panel provides a specific properties page for each type of Contour<br \/>\nShuttle device.
