An outdoor<br \/>\nantenna system should not be located in the<br \/>\nvicinity of overhead power lines or other electric<br \/>\nlight or power circuits, or where it can come in<br \/>\ncontact with such power lines or circuits as death<br \/>\nor serious injury can occur. Be sure the antenna<br \/>\nsystem is grounded to provide some protection<br \/>\nagainst voltage surges and built-up static<br \/>\ncharges. Section 810 of the National Electrical<br \/>\nCode (NEC) in the U.S.A. provides information<br \/>\nwith respect to proper grounding of the mast<br \/>\nand supporting structure, grounding of the<br \/>\nlead-in wire to an antenna discharge unit, size<br \/>\nof grounding conductors, location of antenna<br \/>\ndischarge unit, connection to grounding<br \/>\nelectrodes and requirements for the grounding<br \/>\nelectrode. Antenna grounding according to the<br \/>\nNational Electrical Code, ANSI\/NFPA 70<br \/>\n\u2022\u2022Moving Make sure the product is turned off,<br \/>\nunplugged, and all cables have been removed.<br \/>\nIt may take 2 or more people to carry larger TVs.<br \/>\nDo not press or put stress on the front panel of<br \/>\nthe TV.<br \/>\n\u2022\u2022Ventilation Install your TV where there is proper<br \/>\nventilation. Do not install in a confined space<br \/>\nsuch as a bookcase. Do not cover the product<br \/>\nwith cloth or other materials while plugged. Do<br \/>\nnot install in excessively dusty places.<br \/>\n\u2022\u2022Take care not to touch the ventilation openings.<br \/>\nWhen watching the TV for a long period, the<br \/>\nventilation openings may become hot. (Depending upon model)<br \/>\nUsing the Button<br \/>\nYou can operate the TV by pressing the button.<br \/>\nBasic Functions<br \/>\nPower On (Press)<br \/>\nPower Off 1 (Press and Hold)<br \/>\nMenu control (Press 2)<br \/>\nMenu selection (Press and Hold 3)<br \/>\n1 All running apps will close.<br \/>\n2 You can access and adjust the menu by pressing<br \/>\nthe button when TV is on.<br \/>\n3 You can use the function when you access menu<br \/>\ncontrol.<br \/>\nAdjusting the Menu<br \/>\nWhen the TV is turned on, press the button one<br \/>\ntime. You can adjust the Menu items using the<br \/>\nbutton. (Depending upon model)<br \/>\nTurns the power off.<br \/>\nChanges the input source.<br \/>\nScrolls through the saved channels.<br \/>\nAdjusts the volume level.<br \/>\n6<br \/>\nENGLISH<br \/>\nMounting on a Table<br \/>\n1 Lift and tilt the TV into its upright position on a<br \/>\ntable.<br \/>\n&#8212; Leave a 10 cm (4 inches) (minimum) space from<br \/>\nthe wall for proper ventilation.<br \/>\n10 cm 10 cm<br \/>\n10 cm<br \/>\n10 cm<br \/>\n(4 inches)<br \/>\n2 Connect the power cord to a wall outlet.<br \/>\n\u2022\u2022Do not apply foreign substances (oils,<br \/>\nlubricants, etc.) to the screw parts when<br \/>\nassembling the product. (Doing so may<br \/>\ndamage the product.)<br \/>\nSecuring the TV to a Wall (optional)<br \/>\n(Depending upon model)<br \/>\n1 Insert and tighten the eye-bolts or TV brackets<br \/>\nand bolts on the back of the TV.<br \/>\n&#8212; If there are bolts inserted at the eye-bolts<br \/>\nposition, remove the bolts first.<br \/>\n2 Mount the wall brackets with the bolts to the<br \/>\nwall. Match the location of the wall bracket and<br \/>\nthe eye-bolts on the rear of the TV.<br \/>\n3 Connect the eye-bolts and wall brackets tightly<br \/>\nwith a sturdy rope or cable. Make sure to keep<br \/>\nthe rope parallel to the flat surface.<br \/>\n\u2022\u2022Make sure that children do not climb on or<br \/>\nhang on the TV.<br \/>\n\u2022\u2022Use a platform or cabinet that is strong and<br \/>\nlarge enough to support the TV securely.<br \/>\n\u2022\u2022Brackets, bolts, and ropes are optional. You<br \/>\ncan obtain additional accessories from your<br \/>\nlocal dealer.<br \/>\nMounting on a Wall<br \/>\nAn optional wall mount can be used with your<br \/>\nLG Television. Consult with your local dealer for<br \/>\na wall mount that supports the VESA standard<br \/>\nused by your TV model. Carefully attach the wall<br \/>\nmount bracket at the rear of the TV. Install the wall<br \/>\nmount bracket on a solid wall perpendicular to the<br \/>\nfloor. If you are attaching the TV to other building<br \/>\nmaterials, please contact qualified personnel to<br \/>\ninstall the wall mount. Detailed instructions will<br \/>\nbe included with the wall mount. We recommend<br \/>\nthat you use an LG brand wall mount. The LG wall<br \/>\nmount is easy to adjust or to connect the cables.<br \/>\nWhen you do not use LG\u2019s wall mount bracket,<br \/>\nuse a wall mount bracket where the device is<br \/>\nadequately secured to the wall with enough space<br \/>\nto allow connectivity to external devices. If you are<br \/>\nusing a non-adjustable mount, attach the mount<br \/>\nto the wall. Attach the cables to the TV first, then<br \/>\nattach the TV to the mount.<br \/>\n10 cm 10 cm<br \/>\n10 cm<br \/>\n10 cm<br \/>\n(4 inches)<br \/>\nMake sure to use screws and wall mounts that<br \/>\nmeet the VESA standard.
