3-INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Installation diagram for the built-in models
Installing unit into cavity
•
Allow good ventilation on the unit, it’s OK to have ventilation into side cupboards if possible
•
Leave at least a 15mm shadow line around unit and 10mm at rear minimum
•
Always install vent if practical to do so, eg. if unit in an island bench, vent can be located at rear on opposite
side of bench, 200mmW and 50mmH is a good size.
•
Having all 3 sides, top and back completely butted against walls will void any warranty, units have to breathe.
•
Just use common sense, place out of sunlight and away from heating appliances and give yourself as much
ventilation as practicably possible, this will ensure a long life for your unit.

A. GENERAL INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. This appliance is designed for both free standing and built-in (fully recessed) installation.
2. Place your refrigerator on a flat, solid floor that is strong enough to support it when it is fully loaded. To level your refrigerator, adjust
the leveling leg at the bottom of the refrigerator
3. When moving your refrigerator, please do not incline it more than 45 degrees.
4. Locate the refrigerator away from direct sunlight and sources of heat (stove, heater, radiator, etc.). Direct sunlight and heat sources
may increase electrical consumption. Extreme cold ambient temperatures may also cause the unit to perform improperly.
5. Avoid locating the unit in damp areas.
6. Plug the refrigerator into an exclusive, properly installed and grounded wall outlet. Do not under any circumstances cut or remove the
third (ground) prong from the power cord. Any questions concerning power and/or electrical grounding should be directed to a
certified electrician or authorized products service center.
