Assembly Instructions

Step 1: Create Anchor Points
Locate the beam onto which you want to mount the bolts for the Hammock Pod Swing.
(Note: You can use a stud finder to locate the best spot). Using a ¥2 (12.7mm) drill bit,
drill 2 holes about 2 % -inches deep. You can mark the bit with a piece of tape or a
marker for the exact measurement. Make sure the hole does not go too deep or the bolt
expansion anchor will not hold properly.
Thank you for choosing the Sorbus® Kids Hammock

Step 3: Attach Hammock Pod
Once the bolts and mounting bracket are in place, attach the nylon rope. Secure
the nylon rope with a tight knot and connect it to the swoop hook which then
connects to the hammock pod swing.
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Avoid wearing any shoes or clothing with sharp or
protruding objects that may damage or tangle with the
hammock. It is not necessary to apply any excessive
force to achieve any of the above steps. Excessive force
will result in damage to the frame or the hammock, and
is not covered by warranty. Install at your own risk. The
hammock owner is solely responsible for the
attachment point installation security and safety. The
manufacturers are not responsible for any injuries due
to the use of this product.
Check for Safety
After installing, tug firmly on the rope to be sure it holds. Then, place a heavy object in the hammock
chair to be sure it remains secure. As a final test, sit in the hammock pod with feet planted firmly on
the ground to ensure that it can hold the weight of a person. If the hammock pod holds steady, then
sit back and relax! Prior to each use of your hammock, inspect the ropes, mounting hardware, and
installation points for signs of wear or weakness.
