Firmware Upgrade

Tips

We do recommend you update to the latest firmware for your camera whenever we release one to take advantage of new features and bug fixes. However, this is a serious process and can damage your camera if not done correctly.
If your firmware is several versions out of date, upgrading straight to the latest one is perfectly fine, you do not need to install each and every update.
If the update hasn't worked after 15-20 minutes, restart the camera via the side button on the camera.
If you camera is unresponsive, you will need to contact either your place of purchase or TriVision directly. Your dealer or TriVision Tech., LLC reserves the right to charge for any repair attributable to faulty upgrading via the user.

Instructions

Go to the main login screen in web browser. If you don't know where this login screen is then go to the software section of this website and follow the instructions for the Camera Live software.

To see video, click on "Enter",
The default setting:
Username: admin
Password: admin.
Click "setting" from the main camera login screen will get you to this:

7.1 Click "Tool", then click "Firmware ", and you'll get to this screen :

7.2 Click " Continue" , then you will get to this screen. Click Browse to find the MFW file you extracted earlier on your computer.
Please note: The firmware file is .mfw format, you can't open the file, as it's only recognized via camera. Select the correct camera model's firmware .mfw file , then the firmware file and the path will be automatically entered the box.
Once you have located the file and selected it, click Upgrade. The upgrade can take 5-10 minutes , be patient .. Don't perform any other actions on your computer while you are doing this upgrade.

7.3 Wait 3-5 minute till the warning message " Caution ! Upgrading Firmware! Please don't turn off power or reset the camera till firmware upgrade successfully" displayed.

7.4 Till warming message above displayed, then Wait 2-3 minutes again till the message. After the upgrade completes, you will be prompted " Firmware upgrade successfully, reboot now ?" to reboot the camera, then click "reboot", after this your latest firmware will be recorded. You can check the camera firmware version in camera "system" ,which is on the top of the right corner .

Click " system" , you will get to the screen . If your firmware upgrade succeed , then the firmware version will be updated .
